Do you want to lead a team of automation engineers in an environment where stable operations, safety, and technical development are at the center? We are currently looking for our next Team Leader for the automation group within the System Support section at Cytiva's site in Uppsala.
As a Team Leader for the automation group, you will play a key role in leading, coordinating, and developing the site's automation efforts. The team consists of 12 automation engineers who together manage, support, and develop the site's OT environment and control systems, along with an additional 7 system engineers who are part of an adjacent grouping within the same section. In this role, you will work both operationally and strategically to secure stability. The position is a permanent employment and is located on-site in Uppsala.
Your main responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of automation engineers.
- Ensure stable operations of the control systems on-site together with the group.
- Plan, prioritize, and continuously follow up on the team's work.
- Drive improvement projects within automation, process control, and digitalization.
- Be responsible for the group's work related to the management and further development of the control systems.
- Ensure that documentation, standards, and working methods are followed.
We are looking for someone who:
- Thrives in a leadership role and has the ability to create structure, engagement, and security within the team.
- Is solution-oriented, communicative, and accustomed to working cross-functionally.
- Has a university degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or electronics.
- Has at least 7 years of work experience in automation and/or process industry (e.g., chemicals, energy, food, paper/pulp, pharmaceuticals, or similar).
- Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
