As a project manager for the ESF project "Sustainable Growth in Southeastern Skåne", you will be part of a project organization, collaborating with an administrator and an economist. In addition, you will work closely with all municipalities in Southeastern Skåne (Ystad, Tomelilla, Sjöbo, and Simrishamn). Your workplace will be Tomelilla municipality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The project manager is responsible for planning, leading, and following up on a competency development project aimed at employees and managers in small and medium-sized enterprises in Southeastern Skåne. The assignment involves ensuring that the project's activities are carried out in line with the target group's needs, the project application, and set goals.

The responsibilities include coordinating training initiatives and business coaching, maintaining ongoing dialogue with participating companies, partners, and municipalities, and ensuring the active participation of the target group during the project's implementation. The project manager is also responsible for follow-up, documentation, and reporting, as well as promoting collaboration and knowledge exchange between participating companies and industries. The project manager is responsible for planning and conducting procurements of educational and consulting services in accordance with applicable legislation and the organization's procurement procedures.

Since the position involves many points of contact, it is important that you enjoy communicating with different target groups and can express yourself clearly, engagingly, and professionally. It is also important that you are comfortable with documentation and organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

We prefer that you have a relevant university degree, such as in economics, business development, project management, behavioral science, or another area that the employer assesses as equivalent, but relevant experience can compensate for formal education.

You have at least two years of experience in project management, preferably within ESF or other publicly funded activities. You have a good understanding of the entrepreneurial perspective and experience from both the private and public sectors. Experience in procurement is desirable.

It is an advantage if you have local knowledge, have held supervisory roles, and have experience working with competency development, education, or digital learning.

As a person, you have a strong ability to build trust and develop long-term relationships. You work with a holistic perspective, have a good understanding of the project's various tracks, and are solution-oriented. Furthermore, you have excellent collaboration skills, especially in working with the steering group and administrator.

You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as a B driver's license.
