Sätoftaskolan is a F-9 school with an associated after-school program. The school also houses the municipality's adapted primary school. It is beautifully situated near a lake and forest with an inspiring outdoor environment. It is possible to reach the school by public transport.

About 500 students attend the school. The school has a principal and two assistant principals. The staff is organized into various teams and learning groups led by the school's team leaders/lead teachers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a primary teacher in the after-school program, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and developing the teaching in the after-school program based on the curriculum. You create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where students' social development, creativity, and independence are the focus.

You collaborate closely with colleagues in the school and after-school program, contribute to a positive work climate, and actively participate in the school's development work. Your role also includes supporting students' learning during the school day based on the needs of the program.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed primary teacher with a focus on after-school programs.
• Has good knowledge of and works according to Lgr22 and the purpose and core content of the after-school program.
• Can translate the curriculum's goals into meaningful, structured, and stimulating teaching in the after-school program.
• Actively promotes students' social development, safety, participation, and influence.
• Has the ability to plan, implement, document, and follow up on teaching within the framework of systematic quality work.
• Collaborates with the school to create a holistic view of the student's learning and development.
• Has the competence to work inclusively based on students' different needs and conditions.
• Has experience working with norm awareness and values-based work in accordance with the school's mission.
• Meritorious
• Experience leading development work in after-school programs.
• Experience working with students in need of special support.
• Competence in creative activities, movement, outdoor pedagogy, or aesthetic learning processes.

OTHER

The position will be filled subject to the necessary political decisions being made and that it is not needed for internal use.
