EDUCATION ADMINISTRATION
The Education Administration works with a perspective from 1 to 19 years and includes preschool, school, and after-school care. We work systematically and inclusively in our processes with a clear child and student focus, which is one of the reasons for our good results in both preschool and school. CENTRAL CHILD AND STUDENT HEALTH
The Central Child and Student Health is placed under the Education Administration and works with children and students aged 1-19 years. In the Central Child and Student Health, there are professional groups including psychologists, school nurses, school counselors, and special educators, and we are about 30 employees.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Your responsibilities include, among other things:
- teaching students individually and in groups in our municipality-wide special education group. The teaching covers all subjects, but with a particular responsibility for Swedish.
- collaborating with other professionals and together with your colleagues and the student health professionals developing good learning environments preventively to identify and remove barriers in the learning environment.
- participating in the work of investigating and documenting measures for students in need of special support, which is done in collaboration with other staff, students, and guardians.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a Swedish teaching license and either a special education degree or substantial experience that has developed a good ability to motivate and develop students placed in special education groups. You have experience teaching students with neuropsychiatric disabilities, possess a good demeanor, a strong commitment to these children, and want to make a difference in everyday life! We also prefer that you have a broad teaching qualification with a license to teach in several theoretical subjects where qualification in Swedish is a requirement. Personal suitability for the position is highly valued.
A B driver's license is required.
