Job Responsibilities
We are looking for two committed and flexible educators who want to work as permanent substitutes in the Augustenborg School principal's area! As a substitute with us, you will teach according to prepared plans and cover for regular teachers in case of absence. The role is versatile and means that substitution can occur at all stages of our F-9 school, depending on where the need arises. In the afternoons, you will work in the after-school program and contribute to the students' development through creative and meaningful activities.
The position includes teaching students according to prepared plans and guidelines from regular teachers. Contribute to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment where students can develop and achieve their goals. Adapt teaching according to the needs and situation of the student group, with support from colleagues and the work team. Work in the after-school program where you actively participate in the pedagogical activities by creating stimulating and developing activities. Promote students' social, motor, and creative development, as well as create a safe and meaningful leisure time.
Be a flexible resource who can cover all stages (F-9), depending on the needs of the operation. Collaborate with regular teachers and other colleagues to ensure high quality in teaching and after-school activities. Work independently within the framework of applicable guidelines and in consultation with school management and the work team.
The position as a permanent substitute is a versatile role where you will teach students during school hours and work in the after-school program in the afternoons. You are expected to contribute your pedagogical expertise to create a cohesive thread between school and after-school. With prepared plans as a foundation, you have the opportunity to focus on students' learning and development.
Qualifications
At least 120 higher education credits relevant to the school's needs and mission based on the curriculum in pedagogy and, for example, drama, gender studies, media knowledge, health, natural sciences, and languages. Previous experience in similar work is an advantage.
To deliver in your role, you need to have good insight and knowledge of the school's governing documents and knowledge of digital tools. To fit in the role, you are a responsible and solution-oriented educator who thrives in a role where flexibility and collaboration are central. You have a strong ability to quickly adapt to different situations and create security in the classroom. Experience working in both teaching and after-school programs is advantageous, but we also welcome those who have a desire to develop in both areas.

Augustenborg School is a primary school located in the Augustenborg district of Malmö. An area known for its green initiatives and urban sustainability projects. The school has been around since 1952. It is an F-9 school with about 700 students. We are a multicultural school with students and staff from all corners of the world. Here, there are curious students with a great desire to learn.
