Main Content of the Position

We are looking for a qualified career counselor (SYV) for Career Guidance in Kristianstad. In this position, you will have the main responsibility for the participant in the Career Guidance Agreement (KVL). Your tasks will include conducting regular counseling sessions, reviewing and approving participant documentation, follow-ups, and reporting back to our client, the Swedish Public Employment Service. The work is conducted on-site, which means you must be comfortable working independently and in a structured manner.

Responsibilities

As a career counselor within Career Guidance:

• You will conduct individual and group counseling sessions
• Provide information about various industries, education, the job market, and authorities.
• Coordinate study visits and internships at companies and schools.

Formal Qualifications

• You must hold a degree as a Career Counselor, and the degree must be verifiable with documentation/certificates.

Other Formal Qualifications

• Proficiency in data/documentation as a computer is a working tool in this position.
• Good knowledge of remote work.
• Proficient in Swedish and English.

Desirable Qualifications

• Additional language skills are a plus (but not a requirement)
• Experience with the Swedish Public Employment Service's services is a plus
• Experience with the Employment Service's online support is highly desirable
• Previous experience with Workbuster is highly desirable
