OP Assistans is looking for personal assistants who want to work as hourly substitutes for one of our clients in central Sandviken. The shifts are scheduled as day shifts with waiting time, weekdays, and weekends.

ABOUT THE CLIENT: The client is a woman in her 30s living in central Sandviken. Some days a week, she attends daily activities. Other days, she is at home or out doing other activities, such as swimming. She enjoys a good balance between being at home in her apartment and being out and about.

ABOUT THE JOB: The work as a personal assistant means that your workplace is wherever the client is. This can be both in the client’s home and out on activities or daily activities. Your tasks will include support with communication, mobility, personal care, daily chores such as cooking, cleaning, facilitating social interactions, and other activities.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR? We place great importance on personal suitability and are looking for a personal assistant who works with the client in focus. You are there to enable an individual to live the life she desires. This means you need to be flexible and open, but also engaged, empathetic, and attentive, with an ability to read situations easily. The most important thing is that the personal chemistry between you and our client works well. In addition to this, there are some requirements to work in this position:

Requirements:

• Must be a good swimmer and tolerate chlorine

• Driver's license (B)

• You have sufficient physical capacity to manage an active job

• Handles the Swedish language very well in communication and understanding

It is also an advantage if you have:

• Experience in personal assistance or another care-related profession

• A secure employment with a collective agreement – we follow the collective agreement between Vårdföretagarna and Kommunal.

• Contract insurance – you are covered by a range of contract insurances such as compensation for accidents, pension agreements, security insurance for work injuries, and group life insurance.

• Wellness allowance of 2,500 SEK per year – we want you to feel good even outside of work.

• Training – you will receive a thorough introduction and the opportunity to participate in several training sessions that will make you feel secure in your role, including:

  - Team Olivia's Assistant Training - Ergonomics and Mobility Training - CPR

Personal assistance should feel safe, respectful, and simple – as a natural part of life where the client has control. At OP, we have been working to create such assistance since 1998. Through precision, commitment, and a systematic approach, we ensure that the client's assistance works in practice. As a smaller company, we build close and long-term relationships. Many of our managers have themselves worked as personal assistants and have a deep understanding of the profession. We know what is required for assistance to work in everyday life – not just in theory.

This means we can provide you with the personal service you need while having the security and stability of a larger organization. OP Assistans currently has 55 clients and about 400 employees who are employed full-time or part-time. The office is located in central Gävle.
