At Norlandia Äldreomsorg, we are looking for nursing assistants/care assistants who want to work full-time/part-time during the whole or parts of the summer at Amalia nursing home in Kristianstad. As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are a valuable key player who contributes to ensuring that our residents have a safe and meaningful life in their later years. We always start from the resident's will and individual ability and focus on their strengths. As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are responsible for providing dignified and good care based on the elderly person's individual needs. Typical tasks may include assistance with daily care, medication administration, documentation, support during activities, serving meals, and light cleaning in the residents' apartments. You will be involved in everything from educational care moments to enjoyable activities with the residents. It's a very exciting job!

Amalia is located in the heart of Kristianstad with good transport links. The facility has 36 places spread over 4 floors. Each department has 9 residents, one of the departments is for people with dementia. We work in teams at Amalia, and you will always be close to your colleagues. In addition to nursing assistants, the team includes nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, handymen, team leaders, and a facility manager, and we all work to provide our residents with a good life every day!

As a summer substitute with us, you will have access to Cappy – a smart app that gives you an overview of your working hours and salary. In the app, you can see worked hours, earned salary, preliminary salary payments, information about available shifts, and how much you can earn from an extra shift. With Cappy, there is also the opportunity to withdraw part of your earned salary for extra shifts/hourly shifts directly after completing a shift.

We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We prefer that you enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. You should also be able to collaborate easily with others and have the ability to be flexible and attentive when needed.

• It is an advantage if you have a nursing assistant education (or equivalent education) of at least 1350 points.

• It is strongly meritorious if you have previous experience in elderly care.

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.

• We prefer that you have good computer skills and experience with documentation.

Employment type: Summer substitute

Scope: Full-time, part-time, or hourly employment

Start date: June, July, and August 2026

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to present an extract from the criminal record. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
