In Region Skåne, there are nine physical Youth Clinics (UM) and UM Skåne Online. We are organized into five areas, each with a unit manager under a common operations manager. Malmö is Skåne's largest unit with just over 40 employees.

Our youth clinics are well-functioning and pleasant workplaces with dedicated staff. The personnel consists of counselors, midwives, nurses, assistant nurses, and doctors in interprofessional teams. Our target group is young people from 12 years up to and including 24 years. Our mission is to work preventively and health-promoting within areas such as sexual health, unwanted pregnancies, sexually transmitted diseases, as well as physical and mental ill health. WORK ASSIGNMENTS

We now welcome an assistant nurse to our team at the youth clinic in Malmö! The position is a temporary assignment for 1 year. Here, you are offered a pleasant workplace with colleagues who care for each other.

Your role as an assistant nurse here is important as you receive young people in the waiting room and reception. You will help young people settle in, book appointments, give short information, distribute condoms, have short conversations regarding sexually transmitted infections (STI) and safer sex, register in the PMO system, and inform about other units if needed. Your duties also include work at the blood pressure clinic, as well as mail handling, ordering supplies and laundry, participating in outward-facing activities such as study visits. If needed, you also assist our doctor during examinations.

The work is done in collaboration with the clinic's other professional groups. Your specific competence is of great importance for the team to be able to offer our visitors good interprofessional care.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse and meet the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you studied according to the previous or current program structure. Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, are required. We would like you to have experience working at a clinic and/or in reception. Additionally, we see it as meritorious if you have experience working in PMO, scheduling, and have broad IT knowledge.

As a person, you are sensitive, communicative, and see friendly treatment and good service as self-evident. Furthermore, you are stress-resistant and have the ability to work efficiently both independently and in close collaboration with your colleagues. You are service-minded, have a positive outlook, and a genuine desire to work preventively. The work requires a high level of engagement and respect for young people's living conditions.
