At our Child and Youth Rehabilitation Clinic in Kristianstad, you will find a varied and meaningful job where no two days are alike. You will become part of an engaged interdisciplinary team that works person-centred and together creates the best conditions for children and young people with persistent disabilities.
Why our occupational therapists enjoy working here
"I get to use my full occupational therapy competence and develop every day. The work is varied, creative, and meaningful, and I have fantastic colleagues to share it with," says Eva, an occupational therapist at the clinic.
Occupational therapist Linnea adds:
"No two days are alike. Working together with children, families, and a competent team makes the job feel both inspiring and developmental."
Who do we serve?
The Child and Youth Rehabilitation Clinic serves children and young people up to the age of 17 with motor disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and/or autism, as well as their families. We work person-centred, which means that the child, young person, and family are involved throughout the entire care process.
At our clinic, we work in a team-based manner where occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, social workers, speech therapists, special educators, leisure consultants, medical secretaries, doctors, nurses, and dietitians provide coordinated support.
We are located in newly renovated and functional premises together with the adult rehabilitation clinic, which offers great opportunities for collaboration and a secure transition for our patients. The same building also houses the Assistive Devices department as well as Vision, Hearing, and Deaf Services.
Here you have the opportunity to develop, think creatively, and follow children and young people through important parts of their lives.
