Our clinic is located on the hospital grounds in close proximity to the emergency department in Ystad. At the Evening and Weekend Clinic, we assess and treat patients at the primary care level where care cannot wait until the next working day. We have the task of meeting citizens' needs for urgent unplanned primary care in the evenings and on weekends. High medical quality, continuity, high accessibility, and patient safety are our focus, and we always put the patient's best interests at the center. From April 1, 2025, we belong to the new administration "Close Care and Health".

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse, you work to ensure that all our patients receive a good reception and professional care. You perform nursing tasks commonly found in emergency primary care/on-call services, such as triage for drop-in patients and telephone advice.

Working hours are primarily scheduled for evenings and weekends, but also some time outside our opening hours for clinic development, work on your own area of responsibility, and collaboration with nearby units. The extent of employment is flexible between 50 percent and 100 percent.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, preferably further educated as a district nurse, with eligibility to practice in Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. Experience working at a health center and/or in emergency care is meritorious. For the position, it is important that you have a good understanding of the care processes that take place in primary care and specialized emergency care.

As a person, you are responsible, have a fine sense for meeting people in different life situations, and are grounded in a positive approach. Furthermore, you actively contribute to the development of operations and always work based on the best interests of patients and the organization. Since we work in cross-professional teams, it is important that you enjoy collaborating with other professional categories and that you have good communication skills.
