We are a well-functioning inpatient department with 16 beds and a broad medical profile. Here we care for patients with diagnoses including neurology, infection, and orthopedics. We work in cross-professional teams where nurses, assistant nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, dietitians, and pharmacists together create safe and high-quality care for the patient. RESPONSIBILITIES

With us, you work close to the patient in an environment where each day brings new challenges and learning opportunities. You become part of a team where we support each other, help each other across professional boundaries, and have a strong focus on planning, structure, and patient safety.

You will have a varied job where you, together with colleagues, are responsible for the patient's care, treatment, and nursing. You are given good opportunities to develop in your professional role, for example as a supervisor for students with the support of our clinical teacher. We also offer supervisor training and a wide range of internal courses and online learning resources.

You will receive an individualized introduction of at least four weeks. If you are new to your role as a nurse, you are also offered the opportunity to participate in our clinical foundation year. The department also has support in the form of an education nurse who works Monday-Friday. The education nurse's tasks include coordinating your introduction and supporting you in the daily clinical work on the department.

We work with business-adapted schedules in TimeCare, where you have the opportunity to influence your working hours. You work two out of five weekends. If the business requires it, an extra weekend may be added over a ten-week period.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with the eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. It is meritorious if you have experience in medical care, neurology, and the medical record system Melior.

You have a humble approach, are confident in your professional role, and find it easy to collaborate. You enjoy working in teams but are also accustomed to taking responsibility and making independent decisions. In a high-tempo operation, it is important that you are flexible and able to adapt to the demands of the situation. You have good self-awareness and a genuine interest in internal medicine. Personal suitability is given great weight.
