We are now looking for a coordinator who wants to combine operational support with strategic development in a central and socially important function.

The International Office supports healthcare operations in matters related to international recruitment, work permits, the path for foreign-educated professionals to Swedish licensure, and establishment in Sweden. We work to strengthen the organization’s ability to attract, receive, and retain international talent, as well as to ensure a good supply of skills for healthcare in Region Örebro County.

HR Coordinator with a focus on International Office and Relocation

You will have a varied role that combines operational and strategic work within work permits, international recruitment, and establishment. You will be a central contact for international employees and work closely with operations, HR, authorities, and external partners.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Managing and administering applications for work permits and residence permits
• Providing advice and practical support to international employees and their families during relocation and establishment in Sweden
• Being the contact person for authorities, representatives, and external partners
• Supporting receiving operations before, during, and after arrival
• Developing, documenting, and improving processes, routines, and governing documents related to migration and international establishment
• Monitoring the migration field and implementing changes in legislation and initiatives in practical work
• Coordinating and developing the relocation process, including housing, personal identification numbers, school choices, and other practical matters
• Contributing to educational, informational, and communication efforts within the International Office

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree in HR, law, social sciences, economics, or another relevant field as assessed by the employer, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Good experience working in a structured manner, independently, and with multiple parallel processes.
• Good digital competence.
• Enjoys working closely with people in transition and instills trust in your interactions.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working with work permits and residence permits.
• Experience in international recruitment, relocation, or establishment issues related to moving to Sweden.
• Experience in training, informing, or speaking in front of groups.
