Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a student assistant who wants to help develop a proposal for guided tours in the Stadium area over the coming years. The Stadium area is a place for sports, education, and events, a leading sports area in central Malmö that attracts visitors and active participants far beyond Malmö. There is a strong interest in the development of the Stadium area from residents, businesses that will be located there, other Malmö citizens, students, and more.

The purpose is to find a concept for how we can conduct tours in the area that increases understanding of the ongoing project and how the area will develop into an even clearer sports center in the country.

As a student assistant in Malmö city, you will have the opportunity to practice your academic knowledge alongside your studies with assignments within our operations. We offer you relevant and qualified work experience, valuable contacts, and salary. Working hours vary and correspond to approximately 10-15 hours per week.

A supervisor from the department who is familiar with the stadium project will introduce you to the work, support you, and follow up along the way.

The Assignment

To capture the target groups' questions regarding the projects, for example through in-depth interviews.
Develop a presentation with proposals for the layout based on the target groups' questions:
- content of the tours
- support materials for guides
- methods for booking tours, collecting impressions, and questions.

Qualifications

You are studying communication, service/event management, or similar and have completed at least 60 higher education credits and are studying during the period.

The following are meritorious:

Experience in project management
Experience in a similar assignment/project
Experience in conducting interviews or qualitative research
Experience working with or studying logistics
An interest in sports and/or architecture demonstrated through activities, work, or education

To succeed in the assignment, it is important that you are pedagogical, creative, and meticulous. You are a good listener and present in your conversations. You can work independently and take the initiative for check-ins and activities. Since the assignment is for a limited time, it is important that you have a good ability to plan your work and adhere to the existing timelines. We expect you to have good collaboration and communication skills. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

About the Workplace

At the communications department, our primary mission is to help managers and employees communicate the right things, at the right time, to the right target group, in the right channel. We create relevant content for our colleagues in our internal channels and in our external channels aimed at Malmö citizens!

Working hours: As a student assistant, you will work about 10-15 hours a week during the day. The working hours are largely flexible. You will agree with your supervisor on working hours that can be combined with your studies.
