Position as Communicator

The position as a communicator is located at the Development Unit, Bromölla Municipality, a unit consisting of communicators as well as coordinators, developers, and strategists within business development, change management, digitalization, business, and public health.

The Development Unit works on behalf of the needs of the municipality's operations. We support various processes and the ultimate goal is that those who live, visit, and work in the municipality should receive good quality municipal services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a communicator with us, you will work closely with both colleagues within your own unit and with employees in other parts of the organization. A central part of the assignment is to strengthen and develop the municipality's brand as well as to promote good ambassadorship both for the municipality as a place and as an employer.

The municipality's attractive geographical location, with great opportunities for outdoor activities and nature experiences, is an important part of the branding work. Equally significant is the municipality's good service, proximity to larger cities, and well-developed communication links in several directions.

The role also encompasses a wide range of communication tasks that occur within a municipal operation.

Requirements for the position

• Relevant post-secondary education in media, communication, journalism, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
• The role requires both operational and strategic skills in the field of communication.
• Driver's license (B)

It is meritorious for the position if you have:

• Experience in communication work in the public sector.
• Experience in advising and training managers and colleagues in connection with communication efforts.
• Experience working in various digital channels and tools and being open to innovative solutions that meet new and changing communication patterns.

As you will be working with crisis communication, it is a requirement that you undergo a security classification.

We will conduct interviews during February. If you proceed to the second round of interviews, you will be required to complete a work sample and additional tests.
