About the job as a project leader

As a project leader at Jefferson Wells working with our client Saab in Linköping, you will play a key role in leading and managing a subproject/team in line with the overall project plan. You will work systematically with schedules, follow-ups, and priorities - while creating good conditions for the team to deliver high quality and on time. The role suits you who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys collaboration across multiple interfaces, and wants to develop within project management in a technical environment.

Common tasks include:

• Lead and manage various forums
• Define and organize detailed schedules for the subproject/team
• Ensure that the team's detailed plan supports the overall project plan
• Monitor and steer the subproject towards defined milestones and final goals according to the project plan
• Manage the subproject's finances and monitor costs
• Work with resource needs and resource allocation in dialogue with the line
• Manage communication with various stakeholders in the project
• Actively work with risks and opportunities
• Handle prioritization issues between projects
• Create good conditions for individual engineers to deliver on time

The candidate we are looking for

To succeed in the role of project leader, we see that you have a relevant educational background and some experience from similar assignments. You are confident in planning, following up, and coordinating - and you find it easy to communicate with different stakeholders. As a person, you are structured, solution-oriented, and unpretentious, with a natural drive to make things happen. You thrive in a role where you both lead forums, keep planning together, and support the team in daily operations.

We would like you to have:

• Education in engineering, supply chain, or similar
• 1-3 years of experience from a similar role (e.g., subproject management/project coordination)
• Ability to structure and drive detailed schedules in line with the overall project plan
• Basic understanding of financial monitoring and cost control in projects
• Experience working with stakeholder communication and coordinating resources in dialogue with the line
• A proactive approach where you identify risks/opportunities and drive actions
