Your Responsibilities

We at Skill are looking for a designer for Siemens Energy's turbine design department, focusing on the turbine stator. In this role, you will contribute from conceptual solutions to detailed design, implementation, and service. As a designer, you will create detailed CAD models, drawings, and specifications for Siemens Energy's products and manufacturing processes. You will provide essential technical support to purchasing, external suppliers, and the workshop in Finspång. You will also handle error reports from our service department. As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to develop your design and leadership skills while working on groundbreaking turbine solutions.

The department consists of approximately 120 people, of which 21 engineers work in the turbine stator team. The turbine group is an integral part of the component organization within gas turbine development and is responsible for designing and developing turbine components for our gas turbines, including SGT-600, -700, -750, and SGT-800.

Main Responsibilities

• Document design solutions through 3D CAD models, drawings, and technical specifications. • Be the technical contact for Siemens Energy's service department, suppliers, and workshop. • Participate in the development of design solutions together with other functions. • Conduct or participate in fault and root cause investigations. • Lead smaller projects or sub-projects for new and existing turbine products. • Continuously improve methods and processes as part of your daily work.

Your Profile

• Curious and driven individual eager to learn new things. • Master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent. • Good knowledge of English and Swedish, both spoken and written. • Values collaboration and teamwork. • More than 5 years of experience as a designer, including experience with 3D CAD and technical drawings. • Experience with welded construction is a merit.
