As an apparatus engineer, you will have a cohesive and driving technical role. You will work closely with the experienced colleagues we have in the technical field. You will have the opportunity to work with hardware throughout the aircraft's lifecycle, from early definition phases and procurement to maintenance and operational feedback. Working with subcontractors, purchasing, production, aircraft mechanics, pilots, and Saab's combined expertise in apparatus development will be common. You will belong to a team working with both Gripen C/D and Gripen E/F, as well as with the development of future fighter aircraft. Requirements

• Relevant work experience in a similar field
• Technical education at the college or university level, for example in mechanical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or equivalent field. (Alternatively, equivalent knowledge acquired through professional experience, for example from production, testing, or technical maintenance.)
• Understanding of hardware and technical equipment, i.e., you can demonstrate that you understand how technical equipment/hardware is structured and functions
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Swedish citizenship

• Experience working with technical devices, preferably within radar or electronic warfare systems
• Knowledge in signal processing, radar waves, or radio communication, for example from defense or electronic warfare operations
