Your Role

As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be a key person in the development of security solutions for our advanced defense products within BU Underwater. You will have a broad responsibility that spans the entire development chain and work closely with both systems engineers, development teams, and project management.

Your role includes, among other things:

• Ensuring that our products meet the clients' requirements for information and IT security.
• Developing and maintaining generic security platforms used in multiple products.
• Driving security work throughout the development process - from requirements analysis and architecture to design, implementation, and verification.
• Participating in international research and development projects within, for example, NATO and the European Defence Fund.
• Being a knowledge bearer in the organization and supporting colleagues in working methods, techniques, and technical solutions.

Since the role spans several projects, you will have a large network both internally and externally, including collaborations with customers, partners, and international actors.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with an interest in IT security work and experience in product development. You have at least five years of experience in IT security and from operational environments.

We believe you have:

• A Master's degree in engineering or equivalent technical education.
• Good knowledge of cybersecurity and an interest in working with advanced products and systems.
• An understanding of the entire development chain: from requirements and analysis to implementation, verification, and deployment.

You are communicative, collaborative, and have a strong drive. You thrive in complex systems environments and have the ability to see the big picture - where technology, processes, and security requirements interact.

Experience with security standards, threat modeling, secure system design, or work in regulated environments may be advantageous.
