Description

We are now looking for a Supply Quality Manager for a consulting assignment within advanced technology and industrial operations in Linköping. The assignment is a central part of the supply chain where you are responsible for ensuring and developing the quality of purchased items, materials, and subsystems.

In this role, you will work closely with both suppliers and internal functions, playing an important role in driving quality work throughout the purchasing and supplier process. The assignment suits you who are structured, analytical, and used to working independently with quality in the supplier chain.

Responsibilities

As a Supply Quality Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring quality of purchased items and suppliers

  • Managing quality issues in the quality system

  • Following up and approving FAIs

  • Driving non-conformance issues and complaints against suppliers

  • Conducting root cause analyses internally and externally

  • Performing risk analyses related to suppliers and products

  • Initiating and following up corrective actions and improvement programs

  • Monitoring and analyzing supplier quality performance

  • Conducting process and product audits at suppliers

Travel is required, mainly within Sweden but also within Europe.

QualificationsMust-have requirements
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in quality or supplier quality

  • Bachelor's or university degree in engineering

  • Good knowledge of quality and quality work

  • Experience in issue management, FAI, and root cause analyses

  • Ability to work in a structured and analytical manner

  • Excellent communication skills in collaboration with internal and external parties

  • Ability to take initiative and drive work independently

Meritorious
  • Experience in Supply Quality / supplier quality

  • Practical experience with quality tools such as 8D, DMAIC, Six Sigma, RCA, MSA, and FMEA

  • Experience with the IFS business system

  • Experience in leading or coordinating roles within quality
