Within Advanced Programs, we develop the technology for tomorrow's flight systems through studies and demonstrators. The area of Flight Critical Systems has been established to drive the development of basic aircraft systems, flight technology, and autonomy. In the Flight Control Items section, you will develop the hardware and software required to build demonstrators. This involves the development of new systems where you will have the chance to build architecture and see both the big picture and the details.

Your Role

As a hardware systems engineer, you will be involved in building flight technical architecture for new platforms, working with suppliers, and managing devices. The role involves leading and driving procurements together with purchasing, where experience in management is an asset.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who enjoys having many points of contact. You have a strong drive and thrive in a changing environment that is constantly evolving towards a common goal. You want to have fun at work and nurture relationships both within the team and internationally. Therefore, a driver's license and good knowledge of Swedish and English are required.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
