Job Description

Here in Uppsala, we help customers define requirements and develop sustainable and secure systems, products, and services for a variety of industries. The SpaceTech Systems section operates in the fields of Space Technology and Robust Sensor, Radar, and Communication Systems as well as AI & Data Engineering.

Our competencies and experiences are used for commercial and socially critical applications and in research programs, contributing to strengthening Sweden's security and defense capabilities. We support our customers in developing robust, optimized, and flexible solutions at the system and design level, as well as in the development of customers' products through all project phases.

We are now looking for you who want to work as a technical specialist or developer. You need to have experience in developing systems, products, or services within the aforementioned areas, or from another field with similar types of requirements and challenges in complex environments. As a consultant with us, you will work independently or in teams in varying and developing environments.

The position is based at our office in Uppsala, but travel to customers or other types of business trips is also part of your everyday life.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience as a technical specialist or developer in the mentioned or similar fields
• Academic education, at least a bachelor's degree in engineering
  Examples of suitable educational programs include aerospace & space, electrical engineering, engineering physics (e.g., with a focus on embedded systems, computational techniques, or AI), computer engineering, IT, or systems engineering.
• At least 5–10 years of professional experience from the industry
• A strong interest in technology, business value, and people!
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English

Meritorious are:

• Licentiate or doctoral degree
• Experience specifically in one or more of the areas of electronics, FPGA design, hardware-near programming, signal processing, image analysis, AI (ML, DL), frontend/backend development.
• Experience in Linux environments and programming in, for example, C/C++ or Python/Matlab.
• Experience in measurements, testing & verification, and validation of systems or products, in laboratory environments or in the field.
• Experience from defense or government projects
• Consulting experience
