Description
As an HR Coordinator at the Department of Chemistry, you will have a very significant role and be the first point of contact for the department's employees regarding HR matters. You will be part of the department's administrative support function led by an administrative manager. The work is carried out in close collaboration with an HR Coordinator and with support from the Technical Natural Sciences Office's HR specialists and HR strategists in the Human Resources Unit. There may also be opportunities to work at another department within the Faculty of Technical Natural Sciences.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities mainly include coordinating and handling recruitment and employment issues, onboarding, collaborative work, rehabilitation, workplace environment and equal treatment issues, counseling and training, analyses/investigations, and participation in the development within the HR field. There may also be work related to redundancy and transition. The HR Coordinator provides management support at the departmental level in strategic and practical HR matters and has a quality assurance role regarding the agency's HR processes. The HR Coordinator is an important support for the department's employees in matters concerning the entire HR area. Since the department has a large number of foreign employees, tasks include providing advice and support during the relocation phase and onboarding. As a government agency, tasks must be handled according to applicable regulations, which primarily in recruitment involves a lot of coordination and administration.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in the HR field (Human Resource Management program) or equivalent, as well as experience in qualified, broad HR work.
Good ability to express oneself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English, as well as good knowledge of the Office suite. Familiarity with working in Teams.
The role of HR Coordinator requires a good ability to collaborate, communicate, and build good relationships. The role also requires a trustworthy demeanor with high integrity, as well as the ability to work independently and purposefully, and to organize and plan work effectively. Furthermore, it is important to handle multiple parallel tasks with high quality. The multifaceted nature of issues and situations requires the ability to work solution-focused and take initiative.
In this role, personal suitability is of great importance.
Meritorious
Experience in HR work in a government agency/university/college
Experience in HR work in an international environment
Conditions
The position is full-time permanent with a start date as soon as possible or by agreement. A 6-month probationary period may apply.
