Junior Site Operations Technician

In the role of Junior Site Operations Technician, you will manage access to the company's data centers, ILA placements, and office environments. You will work daily to receive calls and cases for the Siteaccess department and assist both internal staff and external contractors with questions regarding permissions, access, and entry. An important part of the job is to administer information in various support systems, ensure that all access cases are documented correctly, and follow up on completed cases. You will also be responsible for key management for ground cabinets, nodes, and facilities, a task that requires high accuracy and security awareness. The role suits you if you have good communication skills and confidence in providing quick and clear information during, for example, operational disturbances, error reports, and other situations that may arise.

This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at GlobalConnect. The assignment will be full-time and is expected to last at least 3 months. There are very good opportunities for extension, provided that there is room for it and that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and handle incoming cases for the Siteaccess department
• Assist internal and external staff with access to data centers and ILA placements
• Manage access issues and ensure correct documentation of cases
• Be responsible for managing key cabinets for ground cabinets and nodes for contractors and employees
• Update and administer information in support systems related to Siteaccess
• Deliver a professional service experience to internal and external customers, field resources, and partners

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a high school diploma, preferably with a focus on computers and communication or similar
• Has previously worked in a service-oriented role, preferably in a technical area
• Has a genuine technical interest and is technically inclined
• Has very good system skills
• Is very comfortable with Swedish in both spoken and written form as it is required to perform the job

It is meritorious, but not required, if you have:

• Experience from working in a technical environment
