Welcome to apply for the position of Senior Social Worker in a work area that is constantly changing and developing with the opportunity to make a significant difference for individuals.

Your workplace is centrally located in Kungälv in nice premises but you also have the option to use our modern flexible office environment in the municipality's city hall. Directly adjacent to your workplace, there are good parking opportunities and proximity to good public transport. You will work daytime Mon-Fri with the possibility of flexible working hours. Responsibilities

The Senior Social Worker’s tasks involve active participation and leadership in the daily work throughout the chain concerning social housing, authority exercise, providers, and interventions without individual needs assessment. We work with social housing contracts, eviction prevention work, and individual housing coaching.

Your tasks include being a support to the staff in questions that arise in the operations, ensuring that there is staff present, and being the one who assists in the daily operational coordination and structure. You will also be responsible for receiving assignments and distributing cases according to planning, as well as being the main responsible for ensuring that handovers in new cases are done correctly. Additionally, you will ensure that everyone in the unit receives information that comes to the unit between workplace meetings, user reviews, etc.

The assignment also includes ensuring good routines and legal security, and working together with the unit manager and employees for a good development of the operations. In daily work, you will develop and support the operations to work towards our goals. Our operational idea is to plan and execute interventions aimed at adults and, through promoting work, strengthen individuals' protective factors or reduce their risk factors through prevention to minimize individuals' long-term need for support.

The collaboration with the unit manager and other working groups is close. In the operational area, there is another operational leader with whom continuous collaboration occurs.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work, behavioral science education, or another higher education that is deemed equivalent by the employer.

It is meritorious if you have:

• 5 years of professional experience in authority exercise and in provider operations.
• Authority exercise within social housing.
• Experience in leading workgroups.
• Other leadership training, e.g., Leading without being a manager.

You have the ability to create a positive and developing work climate and enjoy working in a team. You have a good ability to put the user's goals at the center and facilitate constructive collaboration with other stakeholders. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities as the assignment requires good collaboration both internally within the administration and externally. You are flexible and attentive and have the ability to work both independently and in a group. You should have the ability to lead an operation in change.
