Åsenskolan is a F–3 school in Kungshamn, Sotenäs, with approximately 140 students divided into two units.

Smögens skola is located on the beautiful island of Smögen and has around 30 students in grades F–3. At both schools, the development, safety, and learning of the students are at the center.

Both schools have associated after-school care, where you will also be an important part of the operations. Responsibilities

As a social pedagogue, your main task is to support individual students and student groups in their social development, both during school hours and in after-school care. You work preventively and promote efforts to counteract bullying, conflicts, and exclusion, and contribute together with other educators to create a safe, inclusive, and developing school environment where all students can feel joy and belonging.

Your tasks include:

• Creating safe relationships and supporting students in their social development.
• Implementing preventive and promotional measures in classes and groups.
• Leading small groups and conducting activities that strengthen community, interaction, and conflict resolution.
• Contributing to the safety work at the school, for example through break activities and presence in the school's environments.
• Participating in the after-school care activities and creating meaningful activities.
• Collaborating with educators, student health services, and guardians.

Qualifications

You have a relevant university education, for example as a teacher or another education that the employer considers equivalent.

It is an advantage if you have an education as a social pedagogue or similar.

We are looking for someone with experience working in schools and the educational mission.

As a person, you are creative in your way of developing students, good at building relationships with students, and being a secure adult.

Conditions

The position is a project employment with the possibility of extension.
