In the city of Mölndal, we are proud to have Sweden's most important jobs where we together create the best possible everyday life for our citizens. With knowledge, courage, and creativity, we develop our operations and contribute to making Mölndal an even better place to live and work. Welcome to make a difference in people's everyday lives every day.
The Health and Care Administration, with its approximately 1500 employees, is one of the administrations in the city of Mölndal and includes elderly care, support for people with disabilities, and health care.
SPIRA is a daily activity for people with mental disabilities. Based on the individual's needs and conditions, SPIRA offers participation in a work group, creating opportunities to approach work or studies. SPIRA focuses on wellness and recycling. We have, among other things, a collaboration with Björk & Frihet and Kikås recycling center. ACTivera is a 24-week health-promoting initiative. The target group is individuals aged 16-64 years with long-term absence from the labor market. The initiative prepares participants to take the next step towards the labor market or education. We are now looking for a new colleague who wants to support individuals in their rehabilitation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
At SPIRA, there are four work groups with different focuses: kitchen, textiles, carpentry, and digitization of church books. Each work group is supervised by staff at SPIRA, and you will be part of one or more of them as a supervisor.
In addition to the above work groups, there are also open groups for social activities where participants are not scheduled but participate according to their own wishes. This includes music coffee, outdoor activities, and temporary workshops in various crafts. Your task includes organizing and planning these activities.
You will meet, converse with, and support participants in breaking social isolation and achieving a functioning everyday life. You will encounter people in different emotional states and guide them safely. This means you need to have the ability to adapt based on what the operation and participants need.
Your work also includes participating in the participant's network meetings with, for example, care providers, the Social Insurance Agency, or housing support staff.
We also have a close collaboration with Activera, which carries out work-oriented rehabilitative initiatives aimed at supporting individuals into work or studies, where you may be responsible for handling some cases before work training.
You will belong to a group of support assistants, support pedagogues, caseworkers, physiotherapists, behavioral scientists, and social workers.
The working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday.
We value your ideas and your commitment, and together we create the conditions for development and an independent life for our participants.
Does this sound like something for you? Apply today and become part of our fantastic team!
