Landevi Service Housing

is located in central Landvetter where good bus connections are readily available. The housing has 12 apartments aimed at individuals with various diagnoses and support needs. Both motivating work and some caregiving tasks are involved.

Job Responsibilities

We offer you a stimulating and developing job where you, together with competent and experienced colleagues, contribute to creating security, good care, and support in everyday life for our users, as well as enabling a meaningful and active leisure time. The tasks are varied and tailored to each individual's needs, resources, and conditions. The work includes, among other things, shopping, cooking, cleaning, and participating in leisure activities. You will also be responsible for social documentation, advocacy assignments, and medication management according to delegation. Our working method is low-arousal and structured, focusing on strengthening the individual's independence.

In your role as a support pedagogue, you will be responsible for leading the pedagogical approach in the operations. You will work to support, motivate, and guide both users and colleagues, as well as follow up and evaluate completed interventions. You will act as support to other staff in the work with social documentation and implementation plans. You will also help develop action plans for specific users together with your colleagues and collaborate with users, their relatives/guardians, and staff in other operations.

Your working hours are distributed over days, evenings, and sleeping on-call shifts, as well as every other weekend, with a full-time measure of 37 hours/week.

Co-planning

Härryda municipality is working to increase the basic staffing and reduce the need for hourly employment. Co-planning means that you have a home unit but may also work shifts in other units within the municipality as needed. The purpose is to ensure continuity and secure care for users, while you as an employee gain variation, broader experience, and opportunities for professional development. An introduction is provided to ensure you feel secure.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in the area of functional variations that includes at least 200 YH credits or 60 higher education credits with a focus on pedagogy.
• At least five years of experience working with individuals with mental or neuropsychiatric disabilities.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to take and follow delegated healthcare tasks.

Meritorious

• Experience in the role of support pedagogue in municipal operations.
• Experience in mentoring workgroups.
• Category B driver's license.
• Experience with low-arousal approaches, AAC, and clear pedagogy.
• Empathetic and flexible.
• Responsible and independent.
• Good collaboration skills and a positive attitude.
• Confident in handling demanding situations.
