The care and social services are responsible for the actions performed according to the law, primarily regulated by the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS), the Social Services Act (SoL), and the Health and Medical Care Act (HsL). With a focus on the individual, actions are implemented through decisions and prescriptions for people with various needs for assistance and support in their daily lives. All actions taken for the individual contribute to qualitative and safe care and support.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a staff member in personal assistance in our municipality!

You should have a user focus and be solution-oriented. You have good judgment, work independently but also have a good ability to collaborate with colleagues and other professional groups within social welfare. Respect for people's self-determination and integrity is the foundation of your work. You provide users with support in their daily lives to help them live as independently as possible. You who apply are positive and enjoy challenges; it is important that you are creative and take the initiative for activities.

As a person, you need to be observant and attentive to our users regarding everything from medical to emotional, physical, and practical needs. Your interest is to make everyday life as easy, safe, and enjoyable as possible for the user. Ideally, you have experience working as a personal assistant, you are fearless and see opportunities and challenges instead of obstacles. The work may involve heavy lifting.

The working hours are currently distributed over days, evenings, and weekends, with several users.

We work on 4-week schedules, with the possibility of requests that should be presented in the leave calendar in good time; we are connected to the digital program AiAi, where the schedule is also visible. We have regular staff meetings, where groups have the opportunity to raise issues, and we also meet many other wonderful colleagues from other groups on these days.

QUALIFICATIONS

Personal suitability and chemistry between you and the user are prerequisites for employment.

You need to have work experience in the care profession, preferably within LSS. It is an advantage if you are a trained nursing assistant.

• You should easily adapt your working methods based on changed conditions and new information.
• You are good at motivating the user to maintain abilities and independence.
• You contribute to a good atmosphere in the workgroup and contribute to positive development for the organization.
• You are innovative and dare to try new things.
• You share your knowledge with other colleagues and have a positive attitude towards challenges.
• Since documentation is an important part of our work, we expect you to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing.
• You should be familiar with applicable legislation and know the national guidelines for care and support.
• It is an advantage if you have previously worked with transfer techniques.

Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police record must be presented.

A driving license (B) is an advantage.
