Supporta Omsorg Acute HVB is seeking an Alcohol and Drug Therapist with expertise in youth and addiction

Supporta Omsorg is now looking for a dedicated Alcohol and Drug Therapist to join our acute unit team.

About the role

As an alcohol and drug therapist at Supporta Omsorg, you will have overall responsibility for the methodological treatment work.

You will work closely with our placed youth and be responsible for ensuring that the path from admission to recommendations for further treatment is characterized by high-quality, evidence-based interventions.

A central part of the role is to be a professional hub in the organization; you will map out, drive therapy forward, and serve as an important methodological support for our treatment pedagogues.

Your main responsibilities:

• Treatment: Plan and implement the initial part of the treatment based on the youth's receptiveness, both individually and in groups.
• Mapping: Responsible for screening, mapping, and assessments of the youth's addiction issues and needs, as well as further recommendations.
• Supervision: Provide support and methodological guidance to treatment staff in daily work to ensure that we work according to the implementation plan.
• Development: Be proactive in developing the organization's initial interventions and methods.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has a genuine understanding of the target group of young people with addiction issues and often co-occurring disorders. You are pedagogical, analytical, and have the ability to motivate both youth and colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Trained alcohol and drug therapist.
• Training in MI and good experience with MI-consistent work.
• Good knowledge and understanding of withdrawal issues and recovery processes.
• Experience in mapping and driving treatment in both group and individual settings.
• Basic training in CBT.
• Knowledge and understanding of co-occurring disorders and mental health issues.

Meritorious:

• Certification in A-CRA and ADDIS-young.
• CBT Level 1 training or licensed psychotherapist.
• Experience and knowledge of NPF diagnoses (Neuropsychiatric disabilities).
• Training in trauma-informed care or similar.
