Description
The Contact Center is Kungälv Municipality's first point of contact – where residents, businesses, and visitors turn when they seek information, guidance, or service.
With us, accessibility, good reception, and engagement are in focus.
Our operations include municipal guidance, customer service, switchboard, and reception, but also a clear mission within internal municipal service. This means that we support the municipality's employees, politicians, and operations in their daily lives – both physically on-site and digitally via cases.
The Contact Center is located at the main entrance of the City Hall and has a central role in the municipality. We belong to the Community Building sector and are a team of 22 colleagues. Together we create a safe, professional, and coordinated service – both externally and internally.
Responsibilities
In the role of municipal guide/administrator, you have a broad and varied assignment where you combine external municipal guidance with internal municipal service and administrative support.
Municipal Guidance and External Service
- Guide residents, businesses, and visitors via phone, email, e-services, and in reception
- Answer questions concerning the entire municipality and ensure that the right information reaches the right recipient
- Independently manage certain cases and guide further within the organization when needed
- Be a support when information on kungalv.se or in other channels is insufficient
- Contribute to the development of services, working methods, and digital solutions in the contact center
Internal Municipal Service and Administration
- Provide coordinated internal service and administrative support to the municipality's employees, politicians, and operations, both in reception and via digital case management
- Manage cases related to internal service, permissions, equipment, and access, and ensure professional and effective support in everyday life
To thrive in the role, you need to be flexible, proactive, and genuinely interested in service, digitalization, and making everyday life easier for the municipality's residents as well as colleagues.
Qualifications
For the role of municipal guide/administrator, we are looking for someone who is service-oriented, communicative, and confident in meeting people in various situations. You thrive in a role where the pace can vary and where both structure and flexibility are important.
Education
3-year university education, relevant bachelor's degree (for example, in public administration, social sciences, administration, service management, IT, or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent)
Experience
Experience of work in service and information professions, preferably within the public sector or another organization where accessibility, reception, and factual communication have been central.
Experience from municipal contact center operations or equivalent operations is an advantage.
Language and Digital Competence
Very good IT maturity and experience working in digital systems and case management
Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
Good knowledge of English
