Job Description

The youth center plays an important role in promoting young people's health, well-being, and participation. As a substitute with us, you help create a safe, fun, and inspiring leisure time – where young people can be themselves, grow, and feel seen. Together with colleagues, you help shape activities, conversations, and meetings that make a difference.

Upplands-Bro municipality has three youth centers primarily aimed at young people in grades 6 to high school. During school holidays, we also offer activities for middle school students in Bro.

Our Activities:

• Trappan – Ekhammar School in Kungsängen: Break activities during the day and open youth activities in the evenings and weekends.
• Hagan – Hagnässkolan in Brunna: Open youth activities in the evenings and weekends.
• Bro Youth Center – Broskolan in Bro: Break activities and open activities in the evenings and weekends.

Working hours vary – daytime, evenings, and weekends – which gives you flexibility and the opportunity to influence your schedule.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience. You are confident, social, and have previously worked with young people. You are a team player who finds it easy to build relationships, is present, and unpretentious – and you dare to be yourself.

We would like you to have an active life, a particular interest, or a passion that you want to share with young people. You have a coaching approach, good conversational methodology, and see young people as a resource.
