About the position

Do you want to work as a personal assistant and help another person live their life on their own terms? Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individualized support based on the client's needs and instructions, focusing on self-determination, integrity, and safety in everyday life.

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done in everyday life.

The work is linked to the client's daily activities, where you as an assistant are an important support. The role includes providing physical support, including manual lifting, which requires good physical ability. You assist the client with daily tasks such as meals, dressing and undressing, communication, and various activities.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• Wants to work with a man in his 30s living in Haninge

• Has good knowledge of Swedish, as communication is a central part of the job

• Has good physical ability and is experienced with manual lifting

• Is responsible and attentive

• Is smoke-free during working hours

It is also meritorious if you:

• Have experience in similar work or personal assistance

• Share the client's interests, such as programming and DJ/music

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary

The current employment form is “As long as the assistance assignment lasts” and the position comprises about 66%. The work is scheduled during the day and follows a schedule linked to the client's daily activities. This means that work normally does not occur on public holidays, during summer vacation, or at Christmas.

Odd weeks:

• Monday 08:30–16:00

• Tuesday 08:00–16:00

• Friday 08:30–15:30

Even weeks:

• Monday 08:30–16:00

• Tuesday 08:00–16:00

• Wednesday 08:30–15:30

• Thursday 08:00–16:00

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.
