Preschool Vikingen is located in Brottby, northeastern Vallentuna. We are a smaller preschool with space for 25 children aged 1-5 years. Here we combine rural idyll with safety, closeness, and plenty of nature. The operation is conducted in a large red villa with many rooms that invite creativity and learning. Our values are based on high staff density, a lot of outdoor activities, and active parental dialogue.

Preschool Vikingen is run as a parent cooperative with engaged parents and short decision-making paths.

Job Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a resource/childcare worker at 70%, starting immediately.

Your responsibilities as a resource/childcare worker with us include planning, preparing, and carrying out daily activities with our children together with your colleagues, as well as ensuring that the educational activities continue. This takes place in a workplace with wonderful colleagues to continue driving our preschool in a safe, educational, and developing environment, in accordance with the curriculum.

Our vision is to provide children with the best foundation for lifelong learning in a rural and safe environment.

Qualifications

We are looking for you as a childcare worker, preferably educated or with previous experience. You should be used to taking responsibility, being a good role model, and being responsive to children's expressions of will.

The role also involves being a good role model for children and colleagues, as well as having a good understanding of the equal value of all people.

A criminal record extract for schools is required.

Personal Qualities

As personal qualities, we value that you are attentive, empathetic, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. We believe that you have high social competence and are good at taking your own initiatives. You speak fluent Swedish and can communicate in Swedish and English in both speech and writing.

Employment Type

Permanent position with a collective agreement at 70%. Start as soon as possible.
