About the Assignment:

A woman is looking for a companion who can accompany her to an adapted swimming pool a couple of times a month on a weekend or an afternoon during the week. If possible, you can also join her for Qi Gong on Thursday mornings. She needs help operating her mobility scooter and requires support with dressing and undressing as well as in the shower after swimming, which is why you need to be a woman.

Your Qualifications:

• You must be a woman as you will accompany her into the changing room at the pool and support her there.
• You must be a good swimmer as you will assist her in the water.
• It is preferable if you can or are willing to learn how to operate a mobility scooter.
• Experience in personal assistance work is a plus.

About the Position:

7 hours/month. Start as soon as possible.

As a companion, you will accompany a client with a disability on various activities. This may involve shopping, visiting a museum, or perhaps having a coffee. As a respite caregiver, you will relieve family members, for example, a child with a disability in the home or local area, allowing parents to have some personal time with other siblings.

According to the law on background checks and God Omsorg's policy, anyone working with minors must present an extract from the police's criminal record and suspicion register before employment.
