I am a cheerful 33-year-old guy with a twinkle in my eye who is now looking for an assistant who wants to work extra with me. I live with my family in Stockholm, near Liljeholmen, with good transportation and a central location that makes it easy to get here. I enjoy walks, dancing, and sometimes just relaxing at home.

The Assignment

I have Down syndrome and need my assistants' help and support in my daily life. Your task is to help me with what I need to feel good and be involved – both practically and socially. This includes, among other things, that you:

• support me in communication in everyday situations
• assist with all aspects of personal hygiene and dressing
• provide support in and plan for regular household chores (e.g., cooking, dishwashing, laundry, and keeping things tidy)
• accompany me on walks and other activities that I enjoy
• create security through an encouraging and solution-focused approach

Who are you?

I am looking for someone who is positive, patient, and encouraging. You enjoy working closely together and have a knack for reading situations. You are comfortable working independently in someone's home and show respect for privacy and routines.

Qualifications:

• You are smoke-free and have no pets due to allergies in the home
• You are available for work in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends

Meritorious:

• Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities (ID)
• It is an advantage if you speak Spanish or Finnish

Employment Type and Scope

Hourly employment as needed, primarily in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Start date: By agreement.
