Temporary Customer Service Officer/Examiner in Skövde

Job Responsibilities

Our task at the Driving Test is to conduct tests within the areas of driving licenses and professional traffic. Together with your colleagues, you contribute to ensuring that every customer feels welcome, receives clear information, and has the best conditions to demonstrate their skills.

The tasks vary, and you will rotate within the team throughout the day to perform different duties. In your daily work, you will meet many different customers, so approachability and clear information are important parts of your job. Your responsibilities include the authority's task of conducting knowledge tests both in groups, individually, and sometimes with an interpreter. At times, the work involves a high pace, so you need to be comfortable with that as part of the job, and you will work according to a set schedule, with work at other locations occurring.

You will work with, among other things:  

  • Reception duties
  • Conducting knowledge tests, both written and oral
  • Scheduling knowledge and driving tests
  • Answering customer inquiries
  • Administration of driving license photos in connection with driving tests and renewal of driving licenses
  • Performing general office tasks

Your shifts will be scheduled within the office's opening hours. We are open in the reception from 08:00 to 16:30, except on Mondays when we close at 18:00 and on Fridays at 15:00. Work at our reception locations, Mariestad and Lidköping, occurs.

Qualifications

Who are you?

You will be our outward face and the first person our customers meet, so we see that you are a confident and service-oriented person who enjoys meeting new people. It is important that you are a communicative person, which means you convey messages clearly and respectfully and adapt your communication to the recipient. You have a positive attitude and care about contributing to good collaboration within the team. Additionally, you have a flexible and problem-solving approach and can easily adapt to new circumstances and situations, always with the customer's and organization's best interests in mind.

We are looking for someone who

  • has completed upper secondary education
  • is at least 23 years old, which is the minimum age to conduct knowledge tests according to the Transport Agency's regulations
  • has several years of relevant work experience in physical customer interactions, such as in reception/customer service/information desks with frequent customer contacts
  • has good knowledge of Swedish in writing
  • has good knowledge of Swedish in speaking
  • has basic knowledge of English in speaking
  • has good computer skills and is accustomed to working in the Office suite
  • has a driving license for a manual transmission vehicle
