We are looking for seasonal and part-time employees who want to work with passenger service at Landvetter Airport. Swedavia's airports are meeting places for people, and regardless of the needs of our travelers, we strive for everyone to feel safe and welcome with us. In passenger service, we are responsible for the daily operational work that allows travelers to smoothly, safely, and efficiently get to and from the airplanes.
What does the role entail? With us, you will work with PRM, passengers with reduced mobility, and provide support to individuals in need of special assistance, often due to reduced mobility. Your responsibility is to ensure that passengers safely and securely get to and from the aircraft with the required assistance. You will be an important part of the interaction between travelers and other stakeholders at the airport, in a job that takes place at a fast pace with a strong focus on service and quality. Before starting the job, you will undergo training and then have the opportunity to shadow experienced colleagues to comfortably transition into the role.
For the right profile, there is also the opportunity to work in other areas of passenger service. This may involve working at the information desk, where you answer questions about the airport and tourism. There is also the opportunity to work with tasks related to parking, such as ensuring order at the drop-off area, that the infrastructure functions, and guiding customers to the correct parking areas.
The work involves shift work as the operation runs around the clock. You may work during the day and evening as well as every other weekend, which means you need to be able to travel to and from the airport at all hours of the day.
We are looking for employees for the following employment types:
Seasonal employment 80%, May–October, available for training start week 16
Seasonal employment 80%, June–August, available for training start week 19
Intermittent employment (on-call), available for training start week 19
Who are you? You have a positive attitude and a genuine interest in meeting people in various situations. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, are flexible, and can easily adapt to different circumstances. You work both independently and in a team, take initiative, and collaborate well with colleagues to contribute to a good work climate.
We are looking for someone who has;
A valid driver's license and access to a car
Previous experience in some form of service
Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form
As the work can be physically demanding and involves, among other things, heavy lifting, you need to have the physical ability to manage it
A completed high school diploma
We consider it an advantage if you have;
Additional language skills
Experience from industries such as healthcare, hospitality, reception, or road work
Experience working in a fast-paced environment and handling stressful situations
