About the Role

As an employee with us, you represent Hornbach and are a role model in terms of engagement, drive, and customer service. We are now looking for a sales associate for our hardware, electrical, and garden department.

Your Main Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will primarily consist of sales and advising customers. Thanks to your product knowledge and sales skills, you ensure that the customer can complete their project.

Examples of Common Tasks

• Active sales of the product range within hardware, electrical, and garden
• Opportunities to be inspired, learn from colleagues, and exchange solid knowledge and experience within the product area
• Responsible for incoming goods and displays as well as for renovations and rebuilds in the department
• Analyze the department's product presentation
• Assist in other departments as needed

Your Profile

• High school education or equivalent and experience in retail
• Relevant work experience/education in hardware, electrical, or garden
• Passionate about providing our customers with the best possible service
• Realize the customer's project through professional advice on our wide product range
• As a person, you are stress-resistant, flexible, and solution-oriented
• It is an advantage if you have a forklift license (A1-A4 & B1-B4)

Working Hours/Duration

Seasonal employment, temporary. Full-time 38.25 hours/week. Scheduled working hours day, evening, and weekend.

Salary

Salary according to collective agreement.

Start Date

2 positions, one from 2026-04-07 - 2026-08-23 and one from 2026-05-04 - 2026-08-23.
