Nurse/District Nurse for the Southern District

The nursing unit is responsible for health and medical care interventions for patients enrolled in municipal health and medical care at home, in residences, short-term units, and day activities within elderly care, disability services, and social psychiatry. The operation is part of the care and support sector.

We are now looking for two nurses/district nurses for our Southern district and two resource nurses for our residences. For work in the residence, we are looking for both a nursing responsible nurse and a resource who can be at several different residences based on need.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work as a nurse in home healthcare is largely independent and involves assessing, planning, organizing, and performing medical treatment and nursing interventions for the patients enrolled in municipal health and medical care for whom you have nursing responsibility.

The work is varied and involves everything from medical assessments, sample collections, and wound dressings to more advanced healthcare at home.

You are responsible for the patient's care process and participate in interdisciplinary teams together with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nursing assistants. You also have close contact with relatives and are an important link between the patient and other healthcare providers. As a nurse with us, you are responsible for guiding and delegating nursing staff, and you are also a support for other employees in the team around the patient. Your knowledge and experience are valuable, which is why it is part of your role to contribute to the organization's improvement work.

Collaboration is a significant part of your role and a success factor in the mission. You need to be able to work with both acute issues and long-term goals.

We work during the day, every 6th weekend, and occasionally on public holidays according to a shared schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a district nurse or a licensed nurse. You have good collaboration skills. For us, this means that you work well with others and can create constructive cooperation for change. To succeed in the mission, you need to have a flexible approach and be able to organize and prioritize activities effectively.

You have good experience with IT-based journal systems and can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. A B driver's license is a requirement.
