We are now looking for a team-oriented dentist who wants to make a difference!

The position is a maternity cover, duration by agreement, approximately 1 year.

Main tasks and responsibilities

At Folktandvården Dalaberg, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs. As a dentist with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and secure during their visit. You will utilize your full competence while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service.

Your duties include:

• Working both independently and together with your colleagues in the treatment room.
• Conducting both simpler examinations and more advanced treatments as well as emergency dental care.
• Being the team's specialist in oral diagnostics.

Folktandvården Dalaberg has 14 treatment rooms and we are a total of 26 employees. Here, a diverse group of dentists, dental nurses, dental hygienists, health promoters, receptionists, and administrators work together to create a rewarding and stimulating work environment. For us, joy, commitment, and community are important.

We are now looking for a dentist for Dalaberg who believes in open doors, that the clinic is a shared responsibility, that we help each other, and have fun together. The patient base consists of over 9,400 patients, many of whom are children and young adults. With us, the treatment spectrum is very broad, and you will meet patients with different care needs and of all ages.

Qualifications and profile

• Licensed dentist with documented experience.
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry.
• Proficiency in the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely.
• Ability to present a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do.
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner.
• Contribute to the development of the organization by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work.

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your first year. The mentoring program is part of our three-year development program with up to 18 days of professional development.

About the recruitment process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR department for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic.

If you, as an applicant, have education/degree from another EU/EEA country than Sweden and lack references, it may be necessary to provide supplementary theoretical and clinical work samples as part of the recruitment process.
