About the department

Ward 353 is an internal medicine ward with 21 beds and an associated day care unit. We care for patients with hematological diagnoses, thromboses, and general internal medicine diagnoses.

You will receive four weeks of introduction, tailored to your needs. You will get support from experienced nurses and section leaders to help you settle into your new tasks. It is important to us that you feel secure.

We apply individual schedule planning, which means you have the opportunity to influence and shape your schedule.

You will have a stimulating and varied job with great opportunities for your development. Part of this may involve working more towards hematological care, with the chance to mix inpatient and day care.

Competence development with both internal and external training is an important part of our operations. For those focusing on hematology, there is the opportunity to study hematology 7.5 credits with salary.

About the job

As a nurse with us, you will work in a team alongside nursing assistants and healthcare assistants. The ward has doctors, coordinators, pharmacists, and dietitians. You will also have close contact with physiotherapists and occupational therapists. You will lead and distribute nursing work, always aiming to provide our patients with good and equitable care.

If you want to work with a clear focus on hematological care, you will administer chemotherapy after a separate introduction for this and a so-called chemotherapy license.

About you

We are looking for a licensed nurse who wants to develop in this role. Creativity and flexibility are important qualities, and you see solutions instead of problems. You are good at communicating and can reach both patients, relatives, and colleagues. You recognize the value of working together with us for a good working environment.

If you are a newly graduated nurse, you will be part of the Clinical Foundation Year, which is our introductory program. The Clinical Foundation Year is mandatory and lasts during the first year of your employment with us. It includes lectures, nursing supervision, and practical training of your profession at the Simulator Center. Additionally, it includes service in at least two different wards to broaden your competence.

In the case of recruitment of nurses/doctors with foreign qualifications/specialist certificates, the current position will be preceded by a process to meet the requirements for Swedish qualifications/specialist certificates.
