We are now looking for a team-oriented dentist who wants to make a difference!

The position is a maternity cover, duration to be agreed upon, approximately 1 year.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

At Folktandvården Torslanda, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs. As a dentist with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and secure during their visit. You will utilize your entire skill set while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service.

The position includes, among other things:

• Working both independently and collaboratively with your colleagues in the treatment room
• Conducting both simpler examinations and more advanced treatments, as well as some emergency dental care
• Being a team leader and contributing to the development of the team and the organization

Folktandvården Torslanda has 12 treatment rooms. A total of 30 employees work here. We are located in newly built premises near Amhults Resecentrum. The clinic's opening hours are 07:00-19:00 Monday to Thursday and 07:00-16:00 Friday.

Competence Requirements and Profile

• Licensed dentist
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry
• Proficiency in the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to present a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your first year. The mentoring program is part of our three-year development program with up to 18 days of professional development.

About the Recruitment Process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates for interviews at the clinic.

If you, as an applicant, have education/degree from another EU/EEA country than Sweden and lack references, it may be necessary to provide supplementary theoretical and clinical work samples as part of the recruitment process.
