About Us

Welcome to Närhälsan Landvetter health center! We are a well-functioning health center with just over 9,000 registered patients.

We are about 35 employees from various professions who work together for the health of the residents. We are approved as a training health center and regularly receive students at different levels within the healthcare professions.

The health center is centrally located in Landvetter, a rapidly growing locality. The catchment area includes both rural and the expanding urban area. Our patients come from all age groups, and there is a significant influx of families with children to Landvetter. Commuting options to Gothenburg and Borås are very good. The health center is located next to the transport center, and free commuter parking is available nearby. The unit has a low staff turnover, and many of us have worked here for a long time.

About the Job

Your tasks at the health center cover a broad field of work and include general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations. You will work independently and variably with outpatient work. Guidance is provided by an experienced specialist, who offers you support and knowledge exchange. We offer you a varied job with good development opportunities. About You

You are a licensed physician with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare and have an interest in primary care and undertaking ST training in general medicine. You possess language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale.

We are looking for someone who is attentive and has a good approach since you will meet many different patients at the health center. You work independently and are confident in making your own decisions, while also contributing with engagement and initiative to the development of the organization. You enjoy teamwork and are happy to collaborate with colleagues and partners to create a care environment characterized by quality, trust, and care.

Other Information

Interviews at the health center are conducted continuously during the application period.

The position is a temporary contract for 6 months, with a possibility of extension and ST training.

For those who have trained as doctors abroad and have not completed AT in Sweden to obtain a medical license, the new regulations regarding Basic Training from July 1, 2021, apply. Basic Training for doctors (BT) is a mandatory introductory part of the specialization training in the new regulation ST-2021 (HSLF-FS 2021:8). This means that you need to complete BT before or as an introductory part of your ST.
