Are you curious about combining specialist dental care with general dentistry?

We are opening up the possibility to combine work at a general dental clinic with work at our specialist clinic for periodontology in Uddevalla.

If you are currently employed with us, there is an opportunity to continue working at your current clinic for about half of the working hours, or as agreed.

If you are not currently working with us, there is an opportunity to combine work in periodontology with work at a general dental clinic within Folktandvården in the area. Individual solutions can be discussed based on circumstances.

At the specialist clinic for periodontology, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced colleagues who are all willing to share knowledge and experience regarding the treatment of patients with periodontal disease and peri-implantitis. With us, you will primarily meet patients with significant treatment needs. You will work at the top of your competence and in a team with the clinic's periodontist, dental hygienists, and others at the clinic.

Your responsibilities include:

• Periodontal examination and X-ray taking prior to planning appropriate interventions with the periodontist
• Causal treatment of periodontal disease and peri-implantitis
• Evaluation with support from the periodontist and continued supportive treatment

In addition to patient treatment, the specialist clinic for periodontology also conducts consultations for general/private dental care digitally. The clinic also participates in extensive collaboration with other specialist clinics and general dentistry to increase knowledge and understanding of periodontal disease.

The specialist clinic for periodontology is located in Uddevalla, in close proximity to the bus and train station and Uddevalla Hospital. The specialist building also houses orthodontics, dental physiology, pedodontics, and oral radiology. Collaboration with these and nearby clinics in oral surgery and orofacial medicine is frequent.

Qualifications and Profile

• Licensed dental hygienist, preferably with several years of documented experience
• Knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to present a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do/complex issues
• Ability to collaborate and relate to other people in a responsive manner
• Contribute to the development of the organization by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work
• Comfortable handling all types of patients
• Feel secure working both independently and in a team
• Have a working method that involves and engages patients to motivate them for their own care

About the Recruitment Process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 4-5.
