About Our Vacant Positions

At Skaraborg Hospital, you will have the chance to experience how work at an acute hospital functions. We have several departments and offer you the opportunity to choose your unit.

As a care assistant with us, you will work with psychiatric care closely with patients. In psychiatry, you will meet patients suffering from various types of mental health issues. Your daily work includes conversations, care, and documentation. Our departments are located at Skaraborg Hospital in Skövde.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is educated or a student as follows:

• care assistant in healthcare and social care, or you will complete your education by June 2026
• nursing student who has completed at least three semesters of the nursing program and has done hospital practice by June 2026
• medical student who has completed at least six semesters of the medical program by June 2026

If you have studied psychiatry or have experience working with our patient group, we consider that an advantage.

A summer position with us requires that you are responsible, have a good ability to collaborate with all professional categories, and have a pleasant demeanor towards patients and their relatives. To provide our patients with good and safe care, it is important that you understand and can communicate in Swedish.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
