Habilitation is specialized health care for children and adolescents with autism, intellectual disabilities, movement disabilities, or acquired brain injuries. We provide health-promoting and therapeutic interventions based on each individual's unique needs and circumstances, and we have specialist knowledge of how disabilities can affect daily life, health, and development.

Description

We are looking for a specialist psychologist for our clinics in Skaraborg or Fyrbodal.

Our psychologists in Skövde and Lidköping, Uddevalla, and Vänersborg work closely together, and in dialogue with you, we will decide which clinic you will be based at.

As a specialist psychologist with us, you play a central role in both clinical work and organizational development. The position involves a combination of clinical patient work (approximately 50%) and specialist assignments (approximately 30-50%), where you contribute to developing and ensuring the quality of habilitation's psychological work.

You will work alongside other specialist psychologists within Habilitation & Health and contribute to a strategic development effort focused on evidence-based practice, knowledge development, and the best possible care for our target groups.

Responsibilities

Clinical Work (approx. 50%)

• Neuropsychological, cognitive, and developmental psychological assessments and investigations
• Psychological treatment, counseling, and consultative interventions
• Psychoeducation for patients, families, and networks
• Collaboration in multidisciplinary teams around the patient's needs

Specialist Assignments (approx. 30-50%)

• Internal supervision and methodological support to psychology colleagues
• Contribute to quality assurance and development of habilitation's assignments based on evidence and 'Best Practice'
• Lead or participate in process and knowledge teams related to diagnostic areas or organizational development
• Implementation of new working methods and support in clinical method development
• Contribute to knowledge dissemination and competence development within the organization
• Joint collaboration and professional contact responsibility together with the other 5 specialist psychologists within the administration

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• is a licensed psychologist with specialist competence (e.g., neuropsychology, psychological treatment, or clinical child and adolescent psychology)
• has experience working with habilitation's target groups or similar activities
• has a good ability to work both clinically and strategically in development and quality work
• enjoys a consultative and supervisory role

Meritorious

• Experience in research, development work, or implementation assignments
• Previous specialist assignments, PLA assignments, or equivalent
• Experience in multidisciplinary teamwork

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability such as collaboration skills, structured work style, and the ability to drive development processes. A B driver's license is required as travel is part of the job.
