Responsibilities

As an occupational therapist at habilitation, you will have the opportunity to use your entire skill set and also broaden it. Our operations target patients with functional variations within, among others, the diagnostic groups of autism spectrum disorders, movement disabilities, and intellectual disabilities.

As an employee at habilitation, you are expected to be motivated to continuously develop your skills regarding the interventions we offer. This may involve conducting generalized parent education that we provide to guardians.

Your focus will primarily be on movement disabilities, and your tasks will include assessing needs, prescribing, fitting, adjusting, and following up on individually adapted aids. There will also be tasks related to behavior, independence training, time, and structure. We provide interventions both individually and in groups. The work is conducted either digitally or physically on-site at the habilitation facilities and, if necessary, in the patient's immediate environment. The goal is for the child to be able to actively participate in their surroundings and have a meaningful everyday life. The interventions are adapted to the child's specific needs. Qualifications

You are a licensed occupational therapist. It is meritorious if you have previously worked in habilitation or with the habilitation target group, if you have experience with assessment and treatment interventions for children and adolescents with functional variations, and if you have led groups. Experience working with the AsynjaVisph journal system is a plus.

We are looking for someone with expertise in:

• Movement disabilities
• Prescribing aids
• Assessment and rehabilitation of hands

The work is carried out in collaboration with guardians and other professionals within habilitation, as well as with the patient's network such as school staff, short-term care, the assistive technology center, various authorities, and other healthcare providers, which places high demands on collaboration skills, flexibility, and good interpersonal skills. We place great importance on personal suitability. Since travel is involved in the position, you need to have a B driver's license.
