JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work involves care and support tasks as well as delegated health and medical care duties. You are there for our care recipients in their daily lives and help them find peace and meaning in their existence. Meals at our care and support homes are highlights, as are daily activities for the residents. In home care, every meeting in the home is important. Your tasks include personal care, meal support, transfers, and social interaction. Documentation may occur. Working hours vary between day, evening, weekend, and/or night shifts. In our homes, work is performed in the individual's own apartment, and you collaborate with colleagues in a department. When working in home care, you assist the individual in their own residence, and there is a lot of solo work.

We have home care groups and residences spread throughout the municipality. For some units, public transport is very limited, and a car and driver's license are required to reach them.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who wants to work with people. It is important that you can show care, listen, demonstrate understanding, and respect others' needs and opinions. You need to be adaptable and able to handle situations that arise, as no two days are the same. We see that you are a cheerful and positive person who can care with heart and meet people with different needs. You need to be flexible when plans change and take the initiative to keep things running smoothly.

If you have completed or are currently pursuing education in care and support, it is an advantage. In home care, it is a requirement that you hold a B driver's license, as driving is part of the job. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

To work in elderly care, you need to present a valid criminal record and suspicion register from the police. The extract must not be older than 6 months. You can order such a document on the police's website.

In preparation for the recruitment process, we have made decisions regarding recruitment channels and marketing. Therefore, we strongly request no contact with media sellers, recruitment sites, or similar.

Our holiday periods are between weeks 25-34, and that is when we need staff. There are good opportunities to start working as a substitute before the summer.

We will organize a training day for those who have not attended this before. The training sessions held are fire training, rehabilitation information, and operational information.

We have the opportunity to recruit a limited number of minors (17-year-olds).

References will be taken directly after the phone interview, and our guidelines for references are that they need to be individuals who have held or currently hold a leading position towards you, such as a supervisor, mentor, or manager. References must also be from the last two years. We do not accept colleagues, friends, or family members as references.
