About Us

Welcome to Närhälsan Hindås health center! We are a smaller clinic with about 4,000 registered patients, consisting of a mix of relocating families and the local elderly population.

The health center is centrally located in the growing area of Hindås, with good commuting options by bus and train from both Gothenburg and Borås. Bus stops and free parking are available close to the health center.

We have diabetes and asthma/COPD clinics, psychologists, social workers, and rehabilitation coordinators. Our child health clinic is part of the highly appreciated family center located in the same building as the health center. We also have a well-functioning collaboration with Härryda municipality regarding home care and special housing, which provides close and practical cooperation around the patients.

Hindås health center has a stable and cohesive staff group, where we know each other well and help each other in our work. As a small unit, we work closely together across professional boundaries, with short decision-making paths and the ability to influence work methods and solutions. About the Job

Your tasks at the health center cover a broad and varied field and include the general medical area where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You work health-promoting, advisory, and treating in primary care, both via phone, home visits, digital care meetings, and at the clinic.

The work is carried out through both acute and planned activities. In this role, you have close cooperation with your colleagues in the unit and in the interdisciplinary team, but also with other actors such as home care and specialist care. At a smaller health center, this means that you get a holistic perspective on the patients and the opportunity to work flexibly and solution-oriented.

About You

You are a licensed nurse with specialist training as a district nurse. It is an advantage if you have experience from working in primary care and/or have a supervisor training of 7.5 credits, but we also welcome you as a recent graduate.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making their own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize among your tasks. You thrive in an environment where you sometimes need to think broadly, collaborate closely, and help each other across boundaries.

In meetings with patients, you are accommodating, attentive, and have a genuine desire to help others. You enjoy teamwork and find it easy to collaborate with colleagues and other actors. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing, and you are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and during visits to the clinic. We would also like you to have an interest in digitization and business development.

The position involves a degree of employment of 50%.

Travel in the job occurs; a B driver's license is required.

About the Recruitment Process

The selection process takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who call candidates for a phone interview. Then the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so that we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
